 2012 Texas State Senior Games a Big Success!!

Results are being reviewed and official results will be posted soon.  Lists of those who qualified for the 2013 Summer National Senior Games in Cleveland Ohio will be posted by mid May. 

Over 2100 senior athletes participated in the 2012 Texas State Senior Games in San Antonio.  Thanks to the Barshop Jewish Community Center and staff for hosting the 2012 games.

Our Mission

The purpose of the Texas Senior Games Association (TSGA) is to promote physical and mental health and fitness among Texas Senior Citizens by encouraging them to maintain healthy lifestyles and social relationships, to participate in sports and recreational activities with other seniors, and to provide an environment for athletic competition. 

The Texas Senior Games have something for everyone 50 years or better. We offer competition in sports ranging from Archery to Volleyball. Included in the list are swimming, track and field, horseshoes, tennis, billiards and basketball shooting. Check us out and then become a part of the Texas Senior Games - Reach New Heights.

 Dallas Deca Challenge 2012

The Aaron Family JCC of Dallas  hosted the Deca Challenge 2012 on April 22. A day filled with  fun and games including basketball, billiards, bowling, table tennis and other activities was enjoyed by all who took part.  We hope to see expanded games next year. 

Important Note to Senior Athletes using Spam Blockers---

The TSGA  sends newsletters and information about the games using the e-mail information in the Games Registration program.  Recently TSGA sent an important message about the 2012 Tesas State Senior Games to all Senior Athletes with a Texas mailing address.   A number of these messages were blocked by the reciepentent's spam blocker.  If you use a spam blocker and you wish to receive games related e-mails from TSGA please set your spam blocker to accept messages from txseniorgames@tsga.org and nsga-noreply@hangastar.co.
