We all know the benefits of a healthy, active
lifestyle. The Texas Senior Games purpose
is to offer seniors - those 50 years or better - encouragement to
live healthy and games where they can regularly compete with
other seniors in sports and games.
Or, more formally, as found in the Texas Senior Games
Association mission statement:
The purpose of the Texas Senior Games Association (TSGA) is
to promote physical and mental health and fitness among Texas
Senior Citizens by encouraging them to maintain healthy
lifestyles and social relationships, to participate in sports and
recreational activities with other seniors, and to provide an
environment for athletic competition.
So what are you waiting on? There is something for
everyone. Get active! Get involved! Stay in shape!!
